Milan National Guard.

The troops of the Kingdom of Italy were under the command of Napoleon's stepson, Viceroy of Italy, Eugene Bogarne. In 1812 the troops of the Kingdom had amounted the Fourth Army Corps.

Milan National Guard regiment has its origins in 1811.

It participated in the battles inKonigswart, Dennewitz, Wartenburg, Leipzig, Cave.

The regiment did not participate in the Russian campaign.

This regiment took part in the Russian campaign, but in thebattle near Oshmyanythere was found the button belonging to compound. That’s why it can be said that some soldiers visited Russia in 1812 with the Great Army.
