Жандармский Легион
Элитная гвардейская часть, сначала было 2 - а полка двухэскадронного состава по три роты в эскадроне.
К 1808 году число легионов уже стало - 3. В каждом было по 2 - а эскадрона состоящие из четырёх рот.
Жандармские легионы сражались : Пьяве, Рааб, Ваграм.
Также эти подразделения прошли всю Русскую Компанию и участвовали во всех сражениях Итальянского корпуса, - Малоярославец, Вязьма, Духовщина, Красный.
Несколько пуговиц жандармерии было найдено под Смоленском и в Стаховском лесу.

Several buttons of gendarmerie were found near Smolensk and in Stakhovsky forest.
Малая пуговица Военной Администрации итальянской армии.
Пуговицы изготовлены методом литья в металлическую форму. Надпись на пуговицах говорит о принадлежности солдата к военной администрации итальянской армии. Надпись выполнена на итальянском языке " ADMINISTRATION MILITAIRE ". Сверху над надписью находится пятиконечная звезда. По отсутствию короны вверху поля можно предположить , что данная пуговица была изготовлена в период до 1805 года.
Полковые пуговицы Военной Администрации итальянской армии встречаются в единичных экземплярах, поэтому по шкале редкости от 0 до 5 я считаю можно поставить R 5. Хотя в одном месте на Брилёвском поле было найдено 4 - ре таких пуговицы на площади 3 - х квадратных метра, пуговиц большего диаметра почти не встречается. При этом пуговицы и другие части амуниции изготовленные из олова просто рассыпаются, полностью становясь недоступны для историков и коллекционеров. Офицерские пуговицы встречаются только в единичных экземплярах и оценивать их редкость можно только теоретически.

Buttons were produced by casting in a metal mold. The inscription on the buttons shows the belonging of a soldier to the military administration of the Italian Army. The inscription is made in Italian "ADMINISTRATION MILITAIRE".
Above the inscription there is a five-pointed star. Because of the absence of a crown on the top of the brim it can be assumed that the button has been manufactured until 1805.

Although in one place on the Brilevskoye field there was found 4 buttons on the area of 3 - square meters. The buttons of bigger diameter are almost never occurred. At the same time these buttons and other parts of the ammunition are made of tin so they could just crumble completely and be unavailable to historians and collectors. The officers’ buttons are found only in single copies and their rarity can be evaluated only theoretically.
